Emilia is on the beach, Emilia is by the sea with its veranda stretching towards the horizon. With us, the vibe is all about seaside life: a mix of nature and warm colors. In the heart of Portonovo, at the foot of Monte Conero and right by the sea, our restaurant’s tables are carefully arranged. Here, you can enjoy the experience of dining, suspended between the beach and the sea, on the only veranda in the entire bay.
In the morning, at the bar’s outdoor area next to the restaurant, you can relish a sea-view breakfast, and then a takeaway lunch break during the day. For lunch and dinner, you can settle down on our sea-view veranda. We look forward to seeing you: from morning till night!

The Restaurant
Our restaurant opened its doors back in 1929 with our grandmother, Emilia. Emilia would come down from Poggio to the sea to organize lunches and refreshments for the first tourists in the area, locals from Poggio, Camerano, and Ancona, who loved spending time at the beach. That’s how it all started. Today, under the guidance of Chef Lorenzo Focante, our restaurant serves traditional dishes like spaghetti with “moscioli”, appetizers, grilled fish still cooked over charcoal, Adriatic fried fish, the catch of the day prepared baked, steamed, or in a light stew, and much more that we invite you to discover in our menu.
